The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association is the largest business organization in Glenwood Springs and represents some 650 members. The Glenwood Springs Chamber on three different occasions was named one of the top chambers of commerce in the nation by American Chamber of Commerce Executives. Other awards include a Daily Point of Light Award from President Clinton and several awards for communications excellence, including best chamber of commerce web site and best chamber of commerce magazine in the country. The chamber is organized around five core competencies: to promote the community; to build a strong local economy; to provide networking opportunities for members; to represent business interests; and to engage in political action.
