The Lakeside Ballroom is a historical building, built in 1924. It was originally an amusement park then a flea market. Today it is used for entertainment. The building is roughly 28,000sq ft with a 10,000sq ft. maple wooden dance floor. It seats approximately 4,000,concert style and roughly 5,500 standing room only. Gallery of local artists featuring fine arts and crafts. The gallery includes painting,relief printmaking, drawings, photography, woodworking, sculpture, traditional rug hooking, quilting,textiles, leather work, blacksmith art, and carvings. Pottsville's Third Brigade Band is a non-profit organization and has its origins in the American Civil War. Our band is made up of musicians from throughout Schuylkill County and varies in age and experience. Check our website as we perform several concerts and parades throughout the year.
